Stress Free, Clear Your Doubts

It is not a sales pitch. It is not a rehearsal for something morbid,

You can read yourself for the most common questions that may had in your mind.

The first 12 hours After Death (Emergency)

What if I cannot afford a funeral right now?

There are government schemes like the Public Assistance Funeral (free basic funeral for low-income families). Call NEA or a social worker. I can also guide you.

What if the death happens overseas?

You need to contact the Singapore Embassy in that country. Repatriation costs $5,000 – $25,000. Call me – I have contacts who can help.

What if the deceased was not a Singapore citizen?

The process is similar, but you may need to contact their home embassy. Additional permits may be required.

What if the family is fighting over decisions?

Step away. Do not argue at the wake. Write down each person's concern. Call me – I can mediate for $150/hour (separate from emergency package).

Find Out More (Contact)

Will you share my contact details with anyone?

No. Never. Your name, number, email, and family situation stay between us. I do not sell or share data.

Can my children contact you on my behalf?

Yes. If you give me written permission (WhatsApp message is fine), I will speak to your children.

Do you speak Mandarin / Dialect?

I speak English, Cantonese, Mandarin, Hakka and Malay. For Hokkien or other dialect, I can bring a translator if needed.

What if I contact you and then change my mind?

That is completely fine. You are never locked in. You can say "I changed my mind" and I will say "No worries at all. The door is open if you ever come back."

What People Ask Me Most

Will you push me to buy an expensive niche?

No. I will show you options from $8,000 to $300,000. You choose. I just explain the differences.

Can I really pre-buy a government niche?

No. Government niches require a death certificate. If you want to plan ahead, you need a private columbarium. I explain everything in my guide.

Isn't you are cursing your living life now as you are a mother of 6 kids. What make you become an afterlife planner?

I never thought to become one or anything specific after I had my 6th kid at 2021. Things start to change when my SEN eldest son voice out his interest in working in a morque.

Are you working with a funeral company or related brevement company?

I work for YOU. You choose and I'm here to explain the difference. However, I'm partnering with Nirvana Memorial Garden and LinSan Temple. You pay the exact same price whether I help you or not. I don't mark anything up. The columbarium pays me a referral fee because it saves them marketing costs. If I ever feel a different columbarium is better for your family, I will tell you, even if I don't get paid. I’m a mother of six. My name is worth more than a commission.

Niches

Can I buy a niche for my parents without them knowing?

Yes, but I recommend involving them if possible. If they refuse to talk about death, we can buy in your name as "future transfer" – but check with the columbarium first.

What if I buy a private niche, but later the government releases a good location?

You can sell your private niche. It may take time, but it is possible. Some families keep both.

Can I put more than two urns in a double niche?

Usually no. Double niche = two urns. For more, you need a family suite.

What if my spouse and I divorce?

If you bought a double niche together, you need legal agreement on who keeps it. I recommend writing this into your will or divorce settlement.

Can I scatter my ashes instead of buying a niche?

Yes. Options include Garden of Peace (Mandai) or sea scattering. I can help with that too.

Do you get commission from columbariums?

I'm partnering with Nirvana Memorial Garden and LinSan Temple.

Can I transfer a private niche to someone else?

Yes. Most private columbariums allow transfers for a fee ($1,000 - $5000).

Can I sell my private niche if I change my mind?

Yes. There is a secondary market. But do not buy a niche as an investment – the market is small.
